Kitchen stuffs
The other day I was driving out near Alewife, and noticed that a kitchen store was going out of business. So yesterday I stopped in to look at knives. I should note that I have had a set of basic stamped knives (Tramontina Colorado) for a while, but wanted something nicer. There were not a lot of knives left, but I found a nice three knife set by Zwilling J.A. Henckels. I got an awesome deal, and am very happy with the knives.
Normally I am not the type to buy a luxury item like Henckels knives for myself, but I do enjoy cooking, and noticed how much nicer a good knife is when visitingsteph_grrl recently. She has a nice set of forged knives, and they really do feel better when cooking. Hopefully I will find enough time to cook to make the purchase worth it.
